RANDOM QUESTIONS:
-If you could have any career or hobby at all (school not included and mother doesn't count) what would your "Dream Job" be? I would LOVE to be an event planner... or a photographer... or a designer of some sort... sorry counselor as a dream job? yikes, no
-If you were any animal what would you be? hm.... maybe a bird or something? I have no idea
-Who is the Best Looking (hottest) Actor? Christian Bale! He is very good looking!
-If you could look like any female celebrity who would you pick? hm... probably Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell and Naomi Watts are really pretty too,
-If you could live anywhere in the US (ignoring family location-AZ) where would you live? Brie is right... it would still be AZ... that's considering the high price of living in Hawaii and how far away it is from everything though!
-Tell us a time from your childhood when you did something wrong and felt bad about it but can laugh about it now. Hahahaha... ok here goes... when I was in 2nd grade we used to take these spelling tests and then trade with another student and grade them. Well Sarah my evil friend suggested that we don't really mark any wrong so that we both got all the points and for some reason I agreed. I'm pretty sure I got them all right anyway but she definitely did not which is why she wanted to do it. I felt SO bad that i told another friend and asked her if she would go up with me to tell on Sarah. So we did and Ms Garcia gave us a little lecture and sent us back to our seats. When I got home I didn't tell mom because I thought she would be so mad. I remember every day I would say to myself "I'll tell her when I'm in 5th grade, then it won't matter anymore" I think this lasted for a couple months? Who knows it may have only been a few days but felt like a few months.. haha. Then we were outside taking a walk and it was just me and mom and she told me what a good daughter I was and then I just blurted it all out! It's so funny to think about that now and how scared I was to tell her.
Ok and another quick one... You all know how dad likes to play around. So one day we were being dumb (I was probably 15 or 16) and I threatened to spit on him. He didn't believe me so I thought how funny it would be if I actually did it... so I did... gross! He did not laugh and I felt so so so stupid! Stupid enough that I still feel bad about it!
Although... the laser thing was pretty bad too, I'm not sure I can laugh about that one yet... I mean I actually had the police called on me! Ahh

Okay Cassi, I think you should want to be an elephant. I watched a show about elephants with dad once, and they are pretty great animals. They all travel in a sort-of pack thing, or a family maybe, going to the next place that has enough food and such - you know, what animals do. But when a little elephant dies, the mother goes over to it and "mourns", I guess you would say. All the other elephants stop and wait for the mother, naturally knowing that she needs the time to mourn her loss. When she's ready, they all get up and go again. Maybe it doesn't really sound realistic or the way I want it to on this, but it showed a whole herd(?) of elephants stop in the middle of nowhere and wait while a mother just stood looking at her dead baby. It kinda showed how natural a mother's love for her children really is, and that there is a sense of love in all beings. And if I really want to stretch it farther than I'm generally willing for a blog post, I think it proves what the scriptures say about the spirit in the earth and that there is a God, because love is shown to be so natural. Animals only do what is natural to them - they don't practice talents that they don't need - they only do what they have to in life: defend themselves, find and eat food, get shelter, and sleep. Right? So how can an elephant be so caring to her baby and the other elephants so caring to the mother if that care wasn't one hundred percent natural? It must just be there, right? Or am I not making any sense? How could an earth with no God exist with love as a natural ingredient? Really, am I making any sense...I hate getting into explaining mode, haha. Yep, all that just to say that I think you should like elephants - maybe next time I comment on your opinions I'll even make a reference to a scripture passage or two! :)
haha wow good thought brie! i never would have connected the mother elephants love for her baby with a spiritual aspect! that is cool! it definitley is natural and all animals protect their young and i'm sure mourn the loss of one. but i think i'd still rather be human! ;)
I just meant for the animal question! You said you weren't sure, but maybe a bird.
well birds protect their young too! they even chew up their food for them!! right now it kind of sounds nice to be a sloth though haha
Protecting their young could just be something that comes naturally for the survival of the species, just what everything else they do is for. But mourning does nothing for the species' survival, it's just pure love, Baby. :) Anyway, sloths are SO cool!!!!
haha sloths are creepy.... ok you've just inspired my next post!
haha I totally missed that whole convo.. but now the whole Sloth post makes much more sense!!!!.. I was wondering what you meant when you were talking about you and Brie talking about them!! Thats cazy about elephants.. sounds awesome!! GO ELPHIES!!
